OSA (UK Online Safety Act) Statement

Databeamer is a secure file sharing platform developed and operated by Full
Join, based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands and serving users in the EU, UK,
Switzerland, and Norway. We offer our service to both businesses and individual
consumers, and we are committed to supporting the objectives of the UK Online
Safety Act (OSA), particularly in promoting safety, privacy, and responsible
digital use.

Our Commitment to Online Safety

Databeamer is a privacy-first, end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) file-sharing
platform. The core purpose of our service is to enable private, secure file
transfers between known parties. Our platform does not support or host public
content, social features, or algorithmic content feeds.

As such, Databeamer is not a social media or user-generated content platform
within the primary scope of the Online Safety Act. However, we take our role in
ensuring user safety seriously and have implemented the following measures:

End-to-End Encryption (E2EE

All files and messages shared via our platform are encrypted end-to-end. Only
the sender and intended recipient(s) can access the content. We do not have
access to, nor the ability to view or moderate, the files transferred via our
service.

No Public or Algorithmic Content

Databeamer does not host public content, social media features, user-generated
public forums, or algorithmically recommended material. All file exchanges
happen privately, between users who know and trust each other.

Age Restriction

Use of Databeamer is restricted to individuals aged 18 and over, as clearly
stated in our Terms of Service. We do not market to minors and do not provide
any features that would attract underage users.

Acceptable Use Policy

We maintain a clear and detailed Acceptable Use Policy
outlining prohibited behaviour., including illegal, harmful, exploitative, or
abusive use of our platform. Violations may result in account suspension or
termination.

User Reporting Mechanism

We offer a reporting mechanism for users to notify us of suspected misuse.
Reports are reviewed by our compliance team and acted upon promptly and
responsibly.

Cooperation with Authorities

While our encryption model limits access to user content, we are committed to
lawful cooperation with UK law enforcement and Ofcom, where required and legally
permitted.

Ongoing commitment

We are closely monitoring developments under the UK Online Safety Act and other
relevant regulatory frameworks. As our platform evolves, we remain committed to
reviewing and, where necessary, updating our policies and safety measures in
line with best practices and legal obligations.
