1. Who we are
Databeamer is a secure online service provided by Full Join B.V., based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. We help you store, share, and manage your data privately and securely.
2. When these Terms apply
By using our service (via website, app, or other tools), you agree to our Terms of Service, Privacy Statement, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Eligibility – who can use our Service?
You must:
- be 18 years or older.
- live or do business in the EU, UK, Switzerland, or Norway.
- not be subject to international sanctions.
- use the service lawfully and responsibly.
Guest users (who don’t create an account) have limited access and must also follow our rules.
4. Privacy & Security
We take your data seriously:
- your content is encrypted end-to-end (we can’t see it).
- you own your content — not us.
- we don’t use your data for AI training or sell it to third parties.
5. Accounts & Access
- You’re responsible for your account, including keeping your password and 12-word mnemonic phrase safe.
- If you lose your mnemonic, we can’t recover your data.
- You can delete your account at any time.
- Some business plans allow for multiple users under one account (multi-seat).
6. Plans & Pricing
- We offer one Free subscription plan for consumers (early access phases).
- We offer several Paid subscription plans, both for consumers and businesses.
- Paid plans are activated after we manually onboard you and issue an invoice.
- You can cancel at any time, but no refunds are given unless required by law.
- Pricing and features may change, with notice.
7. Trial & Beta features
Sometimes we offer early access or beta features for free. These may be unstable, removed without notice, and are not guaranteed.
8. Fair use
You must use the service fairly. For example:
- Don’t use a single personal account for an entire company.
- Don’t spam or overuse guest user invites.
We may limit or suspend your access if you break these rules.
9. Content sharing
- You’re responsible for making sure your content is legal and correctly shared.
- We can’t correct errors like sending a file to the wrong person.
- Be careful when choosing recipients — we can’t recover misdirected data.
10. No AI or external scanning
We do not use your content for any AI, scanning, profiling, or data mining.
11. Downtime & Support
We try to keep things running smoothly, but the service may go down for updates or technical issues. We’re not liable for internet outages, system failures, or emergency fixes. Support is available by email or via your enterprise contact, depending on your plan.
12. Cancellation & Termination
You can cancel your subscription anytime. We can suspend or close your account if you break the rules. We may also close inactive accounts after 6 months of no use (free accounts only).
13. Right to withdraw (Consumers only)
If you’re a consumer in the EU, UK, Switzerland, or Norway:
- You have 14 days to cancel a new paid subscription for a full refund.
- To do so, contact us via email or contact form.
- If you used the service during that time, we may charge a portion of the cost.
14. Limiting our liability
We’re responsible for:
- Major service failures (where legally required),
- Fraud, negligence, or data breaches we caused.
But we’re not responsible for:
- Loss of your own data due to your mistakes,
- Indirect damages (like business losses),
- Issues beyond our control (e.g., internet outages, cyberattacks).
15. Legal Stuff
- Your agreement is governed by Dutch law.
- Legal disputes will generally go through Dutch courts, unless you’re a consumer in the EU, then you can also use your local courts.
- We offer access to Alternative Dispute Resolution if needed (e.g., EU ODR platform).
